SCAM SITES

SCAMS YOU MUST WATCH OUT FOR
1.0.
It is an irrefutable fact that most bux sites are scams. As more and more of these sites turn into scams, quite a large number of others are coming up. It is therefore paramount that you act accordingly to guard yourself from falling prey to the scammers. Don’t ignore all the tell-tale signs on scam sites; they are pretty obvious; Please heed to the cautions elaborated on this page.

1. Abandoned Sites
Is there a question on the site’s forum that the admin has not bothered to answer? Are there broken links that have not been fixed? It is very likely that the admin has given up on the site, it has been abandoned.

2. User Complaints
Are the users happy with the website or it appears everyone is complaining about one thing or the other. Unhappy users will complain and tell the whole world about a scam on the web-find out from Google by typing the site’s name+scam.

3. Selective Payments
Is the site paying some members and leaving out the rest? This is an indicator that they are becoming broke and cannot afford to pay everyone. The main source of revenue for bux sites is ads and they may not afford to pay members when the ads are not making as much as they should. Send a support ticket if you have a pending cash out that is yet to be paid for-maybe there are some technical delays or, there is no money to pay you.

4. Paypal&Alertpay Issues

The main reason people join buxsites is to make money, and cash out. Problems associated with Paypal and/or Alertpay should therefore be treated with a lot of seriousness as it is very likely that the website may gradually be turning into a scam.

How To Avoid Joining Useless Sites

1.1
There are several things you should do before joining a site. a. do a
WhoIs check on the domain, e.g. with

http://whois.domaintools.com/ If the result is not a real name but a
DomainsByProxy, WhoIsPrivacy or any similar company to hide
the WhoIs, then be careful. b. check the name/company of the
Admin/Owner Just because the site is running "under a company"
does not make it legit! Opening a Limited in the UK is easy, cheap
and done in several days. You should try to google the company
name/Admin/Owner name and if you find any suspicious
reviews/posts/threads you should not join. If a
company's/owner's/admin's physical address is a mailbox you
should be careful. c. check the sites layout/design If a site has just
the default theme of the script installed it might be that the Admin
does not have money to pay for a unique design. d. beware of
buxhost sites buxhost sites are in most cases run by scammers. Sad
but true. e. you have to invest to cashout If the rules of a site are
like this you should not join it. f. site has no forum/support ticket
system If a site does not have a forum and/or support ticket system
then it is a really bad sign. g. users are complaining in the site's
forum If users are complaining in the forum, e.g. about delayed
payments, this could be a bad sign. h. Admin is "hidden" in the site's forum If no informations about the Admin are revealed, even if members are asking for it, then you should not join this site. i. site is running slow or is often not available It might be that the Admin is running his site on shared hosting. Shared hosting is cheap but to run a stable site you should at least use a very good VPS. If this situation does not change after a while it might be that the Admin does not have the money to order a VPS or a dedicated server. j. wrong member/payout numbers If a site has one day 3433 members and the next day 43443 members you should leave this site. The same applies for payments. If one day there are no member/payout numbers at all then this is a script error or this was done on purpose. Be careful with those sites. k. maintenance time If a site is in maintenance for more then a week you can be sure something is wrong. The Admin should at least inform you about the status, if this is not the case you should leave the site.

Will get back to you again with the list of the sites...
